Amegy Bank and the City of Houston partnered to develop an innovation ecosystem within a 13-story tower in downtown Houston. Dubbed the “vertical village,” it’s a collection of incubators supporting start-ups. Floor 10 is devoted to the Downtown Launchpad. The nationally recognized MassChallenge, Gener8tor, and Impact Hub accelerators are co-located there.

Start-ups from around the world are provided flexible office, training, conference, and lounge spaces. Stepping off the elevator, you see an expression of the Launchpad’s mission — the “spark” that launches new inventions and business opportunities. The majority of the floor is comprised of open collaborative spaces for mentorship, team work, and pitching investors.
